"For the LORD comforts Zion; He comforts all her waste places and makes her wilderness like Eden, her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song." Isaiah 51:3
This is a good reminder verse when we are hurting, or when we feel like we are too far gone for God to save us.
God will comfort us. He doesn't want you to feel like you are unlovable to Him. He doesn't want you to feel like you are too messed up for Him to love. And He doesn't want you to feel like you are a piece of trash or waste.
God will whisper comfort to your hurting soul. He will turn you hurts into beauty. He will turn your ugly into a garden. Your song of sorrow into one of thanksgiving, joy, and gladness.
If you will let Him.
He wants to turn your ashes into beauty.
