"Cut To The Heart"

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, " Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." And with  many other words he testified and exhorted them saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand were added to them. Acts 2:37-41

Have you ever had the Word of God cut you to the heart causing you to cry out, "What should I do?" "How do I make it work in my life?" According to Peter in the example above, the answer is simple, repent and then receive it! According to the Strong's the word repent simply means; to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (mor. feel compunction) So, instead of thinking God can't, think God can! It means to change your mind. To think differently. So, if for example today you think God can't or won't heal you, Repent! Choose to believe differently. Choose to believe that He can. Lay a hold of, He can and He will, because He said He would.

When His word comes your way and it cuts you to the heart it is for a reason. Don't walk away unchanged! Think differently! Repent. Change the thoughts of your heart about God and your circumstances. Choose to believe and then receive what His word has promised you. When His Word cuts, repent. Simply put, change your thoughts to match His thoughts. Gladly receive His Word and receive the fruit that gets added daily.

Lord, will you cut some hearts today so the we, your people would be more like you and instead of proclaiming "I can't" help us to gladly receive the truth of your word. Help us to lay  hold of, All Things Are Possible!"
