Before the Resolution...

What do you see in the world today? It's certainly no Heaven on earth or Garden of Eden. It's filled with lies, murder, death, darkness, earthquakes, wars, and evil. It's easy to feel overcome, to lose heart, to stop trying.

Sometimes it seems like it'd be better to give up, than to keep striving in vain. Or would it?

Why do the fairy tales and children's movies have a happy ending? Why are werewolves and vampires suddenly the good guys? Why do we fight for justice for the little guy? Because we
believe that good should conquer evil.

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have (perfect) peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer (take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted)! For I have overcome the world. (I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.) John 16:33, Amplified Bible

"Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good." Romans 12:21, Amplified Bible

Jesus says that yes, there will be awful things in the world, but He has already taken it's power to harm us. He has given us eternal life, eternal victory. As followers of Christ, here is our reason to keep going. The battle is already won. No matter what crap the devil throws our way now, there is going to be a happy ending! Good is going to overcome evil! Until then, be undaunted, be strong. Remain faithful. Stand your ground. Fight evil with good.

This is the climax, the final battle, before the resolution.
