In Revelations chapters 2 and 3, there is a phrase that is said seven times, to each of the seven churches. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches." God says this to each of the seven churches, so it must be important.
He didn't say those with a Bible degree. He didn't say those who run a healing ministry. He didn't even say adults. He said he who has a ear. You don't even need two ears!
God wants everyone to hear what the Holy Spirit says to the church.
A church needs Godly leaders who will lead and guide them, but a church needs people who will hear God's voice. Sometimes it will be a big message for the church, and other times it's something deep and personal for you...but that won't happen unless you listen. His voice is available for all of us to hear. So let's take an ear, and hear the Holy Spirit's voice.
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10:27
