Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!" Then He said to the disciple, "Behold your mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. John 19:25-27
Three verses from here Jesus is using the words, "It is finished!" He then bows His head and gave up His spirit.
Moments before He finishes what needs to happen to take care of all eternity for the whole world He takes time to take care of the here and now for His Mom! The here and now is important to Him. We are important to Him. While on the cross dealing with eternity He brings comfort to the thief beside Him and makes sure that His mom is going to be looked after.
If this isn't a testament to the fact that He is never too busy to care for our day to day life, what is? Lots of times I get to hear people say things like, "I just bother Him with the big stuff." or "He doesn't care about little stuff like that." Its crazy! Of course He cares! He cares about every little thing that matters to us. He cares about us enough to take care of eternity and He cares enough to help with the day to day. It says in the word that 'you have not because you ask not.' If you have a need, just ask. Nothing is to big or too small for Him. It is all possible because He cares about everyone of our days and no matter what He is never too busy!
