"The Kingdom Of Heaven Is ...?"

"The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted ..." Matthew 13:24-30

"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches. " Matthew 13:31-32

"The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened." Matthew 13:33

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 13:44

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who when he found one pearl of great price, went and sold all he had and bought it." Matthew 13:45-46

The He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." Matthew 13:52

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:19

"Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3-4

Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants...." Matthew 18:21-35

"For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard ..... For many are called, but few are chosen" Matthew 20:1-16

"The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son ....." Matthew 22:1-14
   ---------------------------------------------
As you can see from the above examples that I randomly picked out while skimming through the book of Matthew, Jesus quite often made references to the kingdom of heaven. And while these are just a few of the examples to be found throughout the word, it is clear that He obviously considered it important to share with us over and over and over the realities of heaven. He was continually sharing about the kingdom of heaven in an attempt to impart a touch of heaven unto the hearts of men. While every truth and every revelation is amazing there is one that is dear to my heart and to be honest, my personal favorite! It is a declaration that He was know to proclaim freely and often and that was only made possible when He 'came, taking on the form of a servant, and in the likeness of men, humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.' Philippians 4:7-8

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for making the Kingdom of Heaven a possibility to all who will believe!

God Bless!!!
