"Clothed And Adorned"

Isaiah 1:18

'Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord,

"Though your sins are like scarlet, 

They shall be as white as snow;

Though they are red like crimson, 

They shall be as wool. 

Isaiah 61:10-11

 

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, 

My soul shall be jotful in my God;

For He has clothed me withgarments of salvation,

He has covered mr with the robe of righteousness, 

As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, 

And a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

For as the earth brings forth its bud, 

as the garden causes the things sown in it to spring forth,

So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise 

to spring forth before all the nations.

Revelations 19:7-8

"Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory,

 for the marriage of the Lamb has come, 

and His wife has made herself ready." 

And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen,

 clean and bright, for the fine linen 

is the righteous acts of the saints.

Thank you Lord, that you take our filthy rags and instead clothe and adorn us in garments of salvation and with robes of righteousness. O Lord, the fact that You see past our filthy rags and instead see us as Your Beloved, adorned in righteousness; the righteousness that You made possible ... it fills our hearts with awe and wonder as we acknowledge ... Your great love for us!
