"We Must!"

 

 "Believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
   You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is out of the Jews.
   But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
   God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:21-24.

Made to worship! We, as those who are called His own ... must worship in spirit and truth! The word truth here means; true, as not concealing. As His people we must come before Him with our love and adoration laid bare before Him. Jesus said we "must" worship Him in spirit and truth ... not concealing anything. In spirit and truth means we are supposed to come before Him declaring our praise and our adoration because we know that He and He alone has made the way for us. We not only can but must come before Him as we acknowledge both our sins and our praise for the price He paid. He made the way that makes it truly possible for His people, a people who are called by His name, to truly be a people who understand that for us the hour is now. We were made to worship Him in spirit and truth ... here ... now ... in this very moment! Even now in this moment, please take the time to lay bare before Him your adoration and praise. Why? Because you were made to worship and the hour has come to worship Him they way we truly must! In spirit and truth.

Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!

Sing out the honor of His name;

Make His praise glorious.

Say to God, "How awesome are Your works!" Psalm 66:1-3
