"The Perfect Message"

Now one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:15-16
As I was reading in Daniel chapter 2 the Lord showed me the very best truth to share with you today as we start back up with our posting a daily devotional snack/message each day. Check it out.

The king has his very upsetting dream. He calls all the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to interpret his dream. They are more than willing untill he also tells them that he doesn't, just want some random interpretation and to make sure he isn't going to tell them the dream, they must first tell him what he dreamed and then give its meaning. They insist that such a thing is impossible.... "There is not a man on earth who can tell the king 's matter; therefore no king, Lord, or ruler has ever asked such things of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean. It is a difficult thing that the king requires, and there is no other who can tell it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. For this reason the king was angry and very furious, and gave a command to destroy all the wise men of Babylon" Daniel 2:11-12 Daniel and His three friends were among those to be killed. Daniel requested of the king time to tell the king his interpretation. Daniel and His three friends ..."sought mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and His companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven." Daniel 2:18-19

The very best truth to share with you today is found in verse 19! "...So Daniel blessed the God of heaven." I love that amazing man of God immediately goes to praising and thanking God for the answer to his request. When everyone else was saying, "It's impossible!" Daniel and His friends turned to God believing that He would hear their prayers and respond. When He did just that and revealed all to Daniel the next thing up was their response to praise and thank Him even before they went to the king! Even though their lives were on the line praise came first!

Daniel answered and said:
"Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
And He changes the Times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge
To those who have understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.

I thank You and praise You, O God of my Father's;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king 's demand."

I say that this was the perfect message because this truth about taking time to thank Him and to praise Him for His many blessings is one that I would like to do s we start back up.

"Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and bringing such an amazing little blessing into our lives. Lord, I want to not only thank you but to give you all my praise that your hand was upon Joy, Sam, and the baby and that all are doing well. Lord, continue to bless them! Amen"
