"The Best Testimony!"

   By faith Enoch was translated so that he did not see death, "and was not found because God had translated him"; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:5

   Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah.
   After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.
   So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years
   And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:21-24

So, we don't know very much about Enoch but the one really important thing we do know is that he had the best testimony! Why? Because he walked with God and because he walked with God, he pleased Him. We also know that God rewarded him and translated him to heaven.

What about you? What will your testimony be? Will it be like Enoch's? Don't forget his was 'for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.' Is your faith in the word of God evident in all your actions? Is He the one your truly in step with? Amos 3:3 says, "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" When you are truly walking with someone than you agree on a destination and then you match your steps with theirs, and so that you stay together and arrive at the same time.  The word tells us that Enoch walked with God for over three hundred and years as he went about his life here on earth. He walked with God throughout his day to day comings and goings, as well as in his raising sons and daughters.

I personally think Enoch has the best testimony going because it shows us that matching our steps in faith with His word will definitely bring us into agreement with Him. Especially about our destination. Eternity in His presence!

Match steps with Him and you too can have the best testimony going ... one that declares you spent your life pleasing the Almighty!
