Psalm 121
I will lift up my eyes to the hills---
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve you from evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out
and your coming in
from this time forth,
and even forevermore.
O
Lord, we take time today to look to You and You alone as the maker of
heaven and earth! Why? Because You truly are the only Source of help in all
our times of need. We come before You this day to give You all our
praise and all our thanksgiving not only because of what You do for us
but also because of who You are, our Creator, and the keeper of our
souls! You truly are the one we look to and not only to preserve our
coming and going but also as the one and only source of strength
throughout all the days of our lives!
Lord, we look to You and You alone with both our eyes and our hearts as focused on seeking Your face!
Lord,
the truth is, that You and You alone are the One we are to lift up our
eyes to for help, and Lord, the cry of our heart today is that You, and You alone, would
be our Help. Help us, Lord, to establish this truth in the very depths of our hearts as we live our lives in a way that brings glory to Your Most Holy name.
God Bless!!!
