"His Amazingly Glorious Presence"

"Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:22

   Then the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.
   When the Philistines  took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it by Dagon.
   And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of he Lord. So they took Dagon and set it in its place again.
   And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold;only the torso of Dagon was left of it. 1 Samuel 5:1-4

Every time I read this section of Scripture I am once again struck with JUST HOW AMAZING the presence of our God is!!! There was no prophet, no man of God declaring Dagon's end just His amazingly glorious presence and Dagon was toppled. In His presence nothing else can or will prevail. I don't know about you but it brings to mind another verse ..."Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

Seek His face and live in His amazingly glorious presence!
