"Miraculous Opportunities Await"

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Cor. 2:9
Today the thought or rather the question the Lord has laid on my heart is this; Are you ready and open to the things that God has prepared for you? No matter what? And what I mean is this: What if you were going about your business today and off in the distance you were to see, say --- a flame of fire coming from the midst of a bush and behold, the bush burned with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Exodus 3:2 Would you, like Moses say, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn?" Exodus 3:3 Or would you run away in fear or maybe even scoff at the possibility that it might be God and dismiss it all together?

What it you and your buddies were out in a boat in the middle of the lake and all of a sudden you see someone walking on the water towards you? Would you recognize that it is Him approaching? Will you be cringing and afraid in the boat or will you be the one who is like Peter? Will you be the one who is bold enough to say, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to You on the water."? Will you respond as He bids you to,"Come," and step out of the boat? Will you dare to walk on water with Jesus or will you be to afraid to risk the impossible? Matthew 14:28-29

If you and I are going to experience the miraculous things of God in our lives than it means not being afraid to believe! It means not being the one scoffing at the mighty rushing wind or the flames of fire. Acts 2:13 It means embracing the idea that, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Cor. 2:9

You and I as His followers need to remember that God is more than capable to perform whatever miraculous event He chooses! As His people we need to be ready to step into His will even if it is beyond the realms of what is possible with our human understanding. If He wants to call to us from a burning bush or come out to meet us on a lake or even send us a mighty rushing wind and tongues of fire it is our privilege to step into His will and to walk in His ways!

Get ready! Don't scoff! And don't be afraid because He has planed and prepared some rather cool God stuff for you!

As His people we need to get ready, don't scoff, and to not be afraid! Instead we need to embrace whatever He sends our way because He loves us and there is no telling what miraculous opportunity awaits for those of us who dare to love Him back!
